Insights Into Teens: Episode 123 "Back To School Off The Cuff"
This week we go off script a bit to deal with some issues. First we talk about a series of deadly tornados that blew through our area and actually our town in the wake of hurricane Ida. We'll talk a bit about how scary that was and the lingering anxiety of the experience. We'll also talk about the disruption the storms caused to everyone's life in the area last week which prevented us from recording our show during our regularly schedule time last week.
Then we'll talk about some of the stress and anxiety of going back to school. We'll address the underlying anxiety and fear for our safety about in person learning during the ongoing pandemic. We'll look at some of the stress issues about having so many advanced courses and so little time to ourselves with Marching Band.
Finally we'll talk about concerns and unresolved issues that are causing some stress and anxiety. We'll look at ways to tackle some of the problems, cope with those we can solve and look at what the near future holds for us and hopefully resolve some of the tensions and anxieties from the last two weeks.
